Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki Al-Faisal said that signing the agreement with a company the size of NEOM will contribute to the development of Saudi sports in general, and competitiveness in particular, as the private sector is an important element to raise the level of the sports sector, especially since the Kingdom is coming - God willing - to host international tournaments and championships in various fields. sports.

His Highness revealed that the memorandum aims to enhance ways of joint cooperation between the two parties, and that the agreement stipulates that the two sides share their sports strategy regarding competitive games to align priorities and focus on sports, and develop the competitive sports ecosystem, to ensure NEOM’s contribution to achieving the goals of the Saudi Olympic Committee, and the work of the concept lab. His Highness indicated that the agreement stressed the strengthening of cooperation between the two parties; To develop specific centers of excellence for the sports that NEOM will host, design and build all sports properties, as well as host international sports events, and establish a working group for events with representatives of the Ministry of Sports and the Saudi Arabian Olympic Committee to ensure the alignment of sports events hosted by the Kingdom to achieve Vision 2030.
