Jeddah - Makkah Al Mukarramah Region Projects Digital Exhibition “Building Man and Developing Place”, is the largest digital exhibition in the Kingdom. It is held inside the largest dome in the world. It entered the Guinness Book of Records with its huge area of 34,000 square meters, 46 meters high, and 210 meters in diameter. It was prepared in 18 days, breaking the traditional, classic exhibition style by turning into smart interactive digital screens.
The exhibition attracted this digital technology, to be a beacon of radiation for a development bid that lasted 14 years, in which His Royal Highness Prince Khalid Al-Faisal, Advisor to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, Governor of Makkah Al-Mukarramah Region, stood on the details of the production of this enriching product, as an identity that distinguishes the region’s exhibitions.
The exhibition, with its distinctive modern design, occupies an area of 15,000 square meters, and huge digital screens transport the visitor between the development projects of Makkah Al-Mukarramah in about 1000 square meters.
As rays of light descend from the sky of the dome through the “light projection” system, and through 120 upper suspension points; 72 digital projectors with an optical power exceeding 40 thousand lumens, supported by 450 optical devices, operating through 18 digital servers, and passing through about 20 thousand fiber-optic cables. 30 thousand power cables were extended to build them; The area of this light dazzle is equivalent to 5000 square meters on the sides of the digital exhibition.
