Fundamentalist Jewish newspaper covering the faces of the ministers
The ultra-Orthodox Behadry Haredim newspaper published a picture of the new Israeli government, in which it covered the faces of the female ministers, which sparked a great debate in Israel.
On Monday, the newspaper showed its followers a group photo taken at the Presidential Complex in Jerusalem of the 36 members of the Israeli government headed by Yamina party leader Naftali Bennett, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Yair Lapid, who will head it in two years, and Israeli President Reuven Rivlin.
The new Israeli government includes 9 women ministers, and the newspaper, which describes itself as the largest news platform for the ultra-Orthodox Jewish "Haredi" group, hid the faces of all the women in the picture, considering that their presentation is "haram" in Jewish law.
While the Israeli media published the picture without a cover.
