The first national futsal team started its career in the Arab Futsal Cup, which is currently being held in Egypt until the 30th of this month, by beating the Comoros national team 4-1, in the opening of their matches in the championship.

The goals of the national team were scored by Omar Al-Dabal, Saleh Al-Qarni, Moaz Al-Asiri and Nawaf Al-Arwan.

The goalkeeper of the national team, Hammoud Al-Dahan, was awarded the best player in the match by the organizing committee of the tournament.

On the sidelines of the meeting, the head of the team’s mission, a member of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Football Federation, Bandar Al-Ahmadi, the director of the Comoros national team, Muhammad Fakhreddin, handed a memorial shield on behalf of the President of the Saudi Football Association, members of the Board of Directors and all its employees.

For his part, the coach of the national futsal soccer team, Spain's Luis Fonseca, expressed his satisfaction with the outcome and level of today's match.

"I am satisfied with the team’s performance in today's match, and we hope that in the Emirates match, we will be able to correct and address the mistakes made by the players in today's match," Fonseca said.

He added, "Starting tomorrow, we will start preparing and preparing the team for the UAE national team match on Sunday."
