The Arab Parliament condemns the crime of ethnic cleansing in the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood in occupied Al-Quds

Beth: The Arab Parliament has committed the crime of ethnic cleansing carried out by the Israeli occupation forces through forced displacement and evacuation of 28 homes inhabited by 500 Palestinian citizens in the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood in occupied   Al-Quds  in preparation for the establishment of new Israeli settlement units in their place.

The Arab Parliament affirmed that this process is a crime of ethnic cleansing that is full-fledged in full view of the world and a black point in the forehead of the international community, as these homes are the right of their Palestinian residents and were legally established for Palestinian refugees who were forcibly displaced from their homes in 1948 AD, and that the use of force, violence and terrorism By the Israeli occupation forces to expel them from them and replace them with illegal Israeli settlements is a challenge to the United Nations and the entire international community, and a crude violation of the relevant Geneva Conventions, a war crime and a crime against humanity in accordance with the principles and provisions of the International Criminal Court, which are punishable by international law and international humanitarian law.

The President of the Arab Parliament, Adel bin Abdul Rahman Al-Asoumi, addressed speeches to the Secretary-General of the United Nations, the President of the Inter-Parliamentary Union, the heads of regional parliaments and the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights, affirming the Arab Parliament's condemnation of this racist crime that violates human rights and international laws, blaming the Israeli occupation forces and Israeli leaders They are responsible for this racist crime punishable by law as a crime against humanity, and hold the international community legal, humanitarian and moral responsibility for silence and failure to address such heinous crimes, and the President of the Arab Parliament called on the international community to take immediate action and to oblige the Israeli occupation authorities to stop these racist crimes, and to activate the mechanisms of international law And international humanitarian law, and accountability for the perpetrators of these crimes in order to achieve justice and fairness for the Palestinian people against whom all war crimes and crimes against humanity are being practiced.
