The Central Bank of Saudi Arabia introduces a 200-riyal denomination on the occasion of the 5-year anniversary of the launch of the "Kingdom's Vision 2030"

Beth: The Saudi Central Bank announced on its website its intention to offer the 200-riyal denomination of Saudi paper currency. On the occasion of the passing of five years since the launch of the “Kingdom's Vision 2030”, during the reign of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, may God preserve him, based on Article (4) of the Saudi Monetary System issued by Royal Decree No. 6 on 01/07 / 1379H.

The Central Bank stated that the 200-riyal denomination will be offered and circulated as of Sunday 09/13/1442 AH corresponding to 25/04/2021 AD, in addition to the currently circulating banknotes in all its denominations as legal official currency.

The Central Bank confirmed that this category was printed according to the latest standards in the field of paper currency printing, as it is characterized by many technical specifications, high-quality security signs, and with a distinctive design and attractive colors that highlight the design of this category, pointing out that the design of the two hundred riyal paper of the gray color included A picture of the founding king Abdulaziz bin Abdul Rahman Al Saud - may God have mercy on him - on the face of this category, the slogan of the Kingdom's Vision 2030 in three-dimensional form, in addition to the name of the Central Bank of Saudi Arabia, and the value of the category in letters and numbers in Arabic. While the back of the paper included a picture of the Palace of Government in the city of Riyadh, the name of the Central Bank of Saudi Arabia, and the value of the category in letters and numbers in English.
