Ambassador Al-Muallami hands one million dollars to the Kingdom's contribution to the voluntary fund of the international, impartial and independent mechanism concerned with Syria
The permanent representative of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the United Nations, Ambassador Abdullah bin Yahya Al-Muallami, handed over one million dollars to the voluntary fund of the international, impartial and independent mechanism concerned with Syria, during a virtual meeting with the chair of the international, neutral and independent mechanism concerned with Syria, Christine Marc O'Hill.
During the meeting, they reviewed the Kingdom's regional efforts in general and at the Syrian level in particular.
Ambassador Al-Muallami stressed that the Kingdom's role with regard to the Syrian issue is to support political solutions, including the efforts made by the United Nations in political and humanitarian terms.
For her part, Ohel expressed her thanks to the Kingdom for its generous support, calling on the Kingdom to continue providing political support for the Syrian crisis, especially in efforts to hold accountable the perpetrators of heinous crimes against the Syrian people.
On the part of the Kingdom’s delegation, the meeting was attended by the Chairman of the Third Committee, Muhammad Khashaan, the Chairman of the Fifth Committee, Muhammad al-Asiri, and the media official, Toful al-Aqbi.
