beth press: In response to today's discussions about the Iranian regime's nuclear program in Vienna, Muhammad Muhadditin, head of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the National Council of Resistance of Iran, said in a statement:

"The Iranian Resistance welcomes any efforts to prevent the mullahs' regime from obtaining a nuclear bomb. The regime's nuclear program harms the Iranian people. The purchase or acquisition of nuclear weapons is a fundamental pillar of the Iranian regime's survival strategy."

The regime has sought to obtain nuclear weapons to exercise its hegemonic designs over neighboring countries, blackmail foreign interlocutors to obtain economic and political concessions, accept its rogue behavior and continue to oppress the Iranian people.

After signing the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) in 2015, the President-elect of the National Council of Resistance of Iran, Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, had repeatedly affirmed that “circumventing the six Security Council resolutions and the unsigned agreement, which lacks formal international treaty requirements, will not It prevents the mullahs from being deceived nor from having access to a nuclear bomb. "

Six years later, it became clear to the world that the JCPOA had not discouraged the regime from obtaining a nuclear bomb. The mullahs spent the unexpected financial gains resulting from the lifting of sanctions to arm, train and finance their proxies in the Middle East, renew their terrorist plots on European soil, advance and develop their ballistic missile program, continue their nuclear program, and suppress the Iranian people.

If the past serves as a prelude, then no amount of political or economic concessions under any pretext will modify this regime's behavior. Denial, deceit, and duplication are part of his DNA.

Since 2015, the Iranian regime has not only escalated its repression at home, but has also increased its terror in Europe.

In February 2021, after two and a half years of investigation, a court in Belgium convicted a diplomat of the regime and three of its associates for attempting to blow up the annual gathering of the National Council of Resistance of Iran in a suburb of Paris in June 2018, when tens of thousands were present.

The "terrorist diplomat" worked on behalf of the Ministry of Intelligence and Security, in full cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The silence and inaction of the European Union in the face of this brazen act of terrorism is unacceptable and encourages the regime to continue its behavior.

Therefore, in any negotiations with Tehran, respecting human rights and stopping terrorism must be front and center.

In fact, there was not a single site or research project that the regime voluntarily reported to the IAEA.

He sufficed by admitting the existence of such sites or projects, and this is after the Iranian resistance revealed the regime’s projects and after the International Atomic Energy Agency confronted it with irrefutable evidence and forced Tehran to do so. Earlier, the Iranian Resistance revealed the uranium enrichment site in Natanz and the Arak heavy water facility in August 2002, and the subsequent disclosure of the extent of the secret regime's work in the field of nuclear weapons, which led to stimulating inspections by the International Atomic Energy Agency. And the ensuing measures by the United Nations Security Council. Were it not for these revelations and procedures, the mullahs would have possessed the nuclear bomb now.

We are proud of being the primary source for uncovering the regime's secret nuclear weapons program.

The undeniable fact remains that the mullahs' regime has not disclosed the full extent of its nuclear program and has left many questions unanswered.
