The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia affirmed its complete stand by the brotherly Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and its full support in all its capabilities.

This came in a statement issued by the Saudi Royal Court, the text of which is as follows:

Based on what binds the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia with the brotherly Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan through close, solid bonds that consist of brotherhood, belief and one destiny, and an extension of their common history and that their security is indivisible, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia affirms its complete stand by the brotherly Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and its full support in all its capabilities for all that it takes. His Majesty King Abdullah II bin Al Hussein and His Royal Highness Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II, Crown Prince of decisions and measures to maintain security and stability and defuse every attempt to influence them. We ask the Almighty to grant the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan its security and stability under the leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah II and His Highness, the trustworthy Crown Prince.
