Beth: The Red Sea Development Company announced its commitment to planting 15 million seedlings at the destination, in response to the crown prince's ambitious initiative, "Green Saudi Arabia", which aims to plant 10 billion new trees in Saudi Arabia.

The company stated on its official account on Twitter, "We are pleased to contribute to the Red Sea project by planting 15 million seedlings at our destination, in line with the announcement of His Highness Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman the initiative of Green Saudi Arabia and the Green Middle East to plant 50 billion trees and reduce carbon emissions by 60%."

The Red Sea Project nursery staff has collected about 38,000 seeds of the acacia turtles tree so far.

And the acacia tortillis tree is spread in all regions of the Arab world, including the Arab East, the Maghreb, the Nile Valley, the Arabian Peninsula, in addition to most areas of East Africa, and it often penetrates deep into the desert.

The Samar tree grows over sand dunes, rocky surfaces and in the bottoms of muddy valleys, and avoids seasonally flooded areas. One and twelve months.

The tree loves alkaline soil and has the ability to colonize saline and gypsum soils as well. The tree has a deep rooted wedge that penetrates into sandy soil and may reach 35 meters in the south of the Sahara desert.
