The Russian Space Agency "Roskosmos" announced that the "Soyuz 2.1a" missile was launched Monday morning from "Baikanur" base, carrying 38 satellites from 18 countries, including the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Among the satellites carried by the Russian "Soyuz" missile, the Saudi satellite "Shaheen Sat", a factory with 100% local capabilities supervised by Saudi engineers in the King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology ... it is the 17th satellite in the satellite system that it launched Saudi.

"Shaheen Sat" was launched under the supervision of a Saudi team.

 This moon is considered a new generation of small satellites. Its mission: to photograph the Earth with high accuracy, and to track marine ships by employing artificial intelligence techniques and big data.

In addition to satellites for Tunisia and the Emirates, Germany, South Korea, Japan, Canada, Argentina, Italy and a number of other countries.

The launch was scheduled to take place last Saturday, but "Roscosmos" decided to postpone it due to climatic conditions, to ensure the safety of the satellites.
