Makkah Al-Mukarramah - The General Presidency for the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque represented by the Agency for Technical and Service Affairs intensifies the precautionary measures at the gates of the Grand Mosque in order to achieve the desired goal that the Presidency seeks to achieve, which is that the pilgrims of the Grand Mosque can perform their rituals in comfort and tranquility.
The Director of the Doors Department at the Grand Mosque, Fahd Al-Jaid, explained that the administration is the interface that receives worshipers and pilgrims upon their arrival to the campus, as it controls the entry and exit process and provides the opportunity for those who visit the Sacred House to perform their rituals in comfort and reassurance while applying all precautionary measures, indicating that the administration includes 150 scientifically qualified employees Practically 24 hours, the necessary guarding of the doors has been put in place and distinguishing them with uniforms and identification cards, and their mission is to guide and direct the visitors of the Grand Mosque, in addition to achieving the flow of movement in entry and exit.
He pointed out that there are doors equipped with light signals and guide panels that light up in green when there are vacant places inside the Grand Mosque and light up in red when the capacity is completed, and not to enter the Grand Mosque at the time of the worshipers leaving immediately after prayer, because that may cause suffocation.
