Amazon expands its network of business in Saudi Arabia
Amazon revealed its plans to expand its network of business in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for the year 2021, which includes the opening of 11 new centers and the provision of more than 1500 job opportunities for the citizens and residents of the Kingdom. This will contribute to enhancing Amazon's operations to improve its customer service in the Kingdom, as the delivery network will be improved to include six warehouses for storing products and 13 delivery stations, allowing the company to reach a larger segment of customers in various remote Saudi cities and regions, and providing faster and more flexible delivery options to upgrade in a way. Amazon's new achievements will boost the company's warehouse storage capacity in Saudi Arabia by 89%, while its delivery network will grow by 58%. Amazon's investments will contribute to enhancing the overall storage capacity of its warehouses in the Kingdom in conjunction with the opening of a network of new centers and the closing of some old centers while securing many improved and developed features designed specifically to provide smarter, faster and more consistent customer experiences. By the end of 2021, Amazon will provide millions of consumer products from its various warehouses, which will reach a total area of more than 867,000 square feet, equivalent to the area of more than ten football fields.
