1,490 workers and workers at the General Presidency for the Prophet's Mosque Affairs perform the work of cleaning and preparing the Prophet’s Mosque, its roof, external squares, and facilities for visitors and worshipers.

The cleaning work includes operating 25 washing equipment dedicated to washing and cleaning the courtyards of the Prophet’s Mosque in addition to 5 equipment to clean the surface and the mosque from the inside with intensifying and increasing the disinfection and sterilization programs for all floors and surfaces inside the Prophet’s Mosque, and expansions, squares and toilets with environmentally friendly disinfection and sterilization materials to avoid the accumulation of dirt and dust.
