And the transfer of Afshin Baimani to the hospital was prevented, ill-treatment and pressure on political detainees, Ismail Abdi and Boya Gobadi.
The Iranian Resistance called on the international community to take immediate action to release political detainees and to a delegation visit prisons.
The resistance revealed the arrest of the regime, Forough Taqi Pour, 25, on February 24, 2019, along with her mother, Mrs. Nasim Jabbari, as well as Ms. Zahraa Safaei and her daughter Parastou Maeni, and they were transferred to Ward 209 in Evin Prison.
As stated in the report - which was obtained by "Beth":
After about two months of interrogation, they were transferred to Qarchak prison in mid-April. These prisoners were repeatedly harassed and beaten by paid personnel by the director of Qarchak Prison. Forough Taqi Pour had previously been infected with Corona in Qarchak Prison.
On Thursday, March 11th, Afshin Baimani, a political prisoner in his 21st year in Kohrdasht Prison, was transferred to the prison's medical center due to heart pains, but despite doctors ’advice, he was prevented from taking him to hospital. He was arrested in September 2000 for helping his brother, the martyr fighter Mahdi Baimani, and was sentenced to life imprisonment.
The regime's employee also transferred the imprisoned teacher Ismail Abdi from Evin Prison to Kohrdasht Prison, on Saturday, March 13th, without prior notice. However, on the pretext that a transfer order was not issued by Amin Waziri, the Special Prosecutor for Political Prisoners Affairs, he was handcuffed and taken to Karaj Court in vehicles transporting dangerous prisoners.
Mr. Abdi was arrested in July 2015 and sentenced to six years imprisonment in March of the same year in the Revolutionary Court headed by Butcher Salwati. The executioners prevented Ismail Abdi from contacting his family, and he had been on hunger strike since March 7, and his contact with his family and conditions were restricted in the presence of an investigator.
On Wednesday, March 10, political prisoner Buya Gobadi was transferred to quarantine in a heavily polluted prison on the order of Hamid Reza Fathi, director of the Greater Tehran Prison. The disciplinary measure came on the heels of Boya's protest against the way prison guards were treating sick prisoners. The quarantine of this prison is very polluted, as new prisoners are being held, and some common criminals have been added recently.
The Iranian Resistance called on the Secretary-General of the United Nations, the High Commissioner, the United Nations Human Rights Council and other human rights bodies to take immediate measures to secure the release of political prisoners, and reiterates its call for an international investigation delegation to visit Iranian prisons and meet with prisoners, especially political detainees.
