The Arab Parliament refuses the European Parliament Resolution on the Human Rights Situation in Bahrain, and calls for an immediate halt to making itself the guardian of the Arab Countries
beth- The Arab Parliament reiterated its categorical rejection and strong denunciation of the void resolution issued by the European Parliament on the Human Rights Situation in the Kingdom of Bahrain, and affirmed that it represents a blatant and inadmissible interference in the internal affairs of Bahrain.
and stressed that the false accusations and allegations included in the aforementioned resolution reflect an absolute ignorance of the realities of the situation in the Kingdom of Bahrain, as well as a systematic and intentional targeting to distort the enormous reforms and developments witnessed in Bahrain in the field of promoting human rights and respecting freedom of opinion and expression.
and should have communicate constructively with the Bahraini Parliament and the constitutional institution elected by the people to verify the veracity of information and allegations rather than relying on sources neither impartial nor objective of individuals and organizations affiliated to hostile entities and countries that do not want well for the Kingdom of Bahrain and its people.
and requested to care about the issues of minorities and refugees exposed to continuous violations in the European societies; and urged refrain from politicizing human rights issues and their exploit as a pretext to interfere in the internal affairs of Bahrain, notably in light of the existence of Bahraini constitutional and judicial institutions capable of providing and implementing all necessary guarantees for the protection of human rights in the society.
and called on the Arab States to ignore such suspicious and tendentious resolutions and not to cope with it from being issued by a non-authority body with no mandate to assess human rights in the Arab countries. stressed that the unacceptable vocabulary contents and lordly manner included in the aforementioned resolution represent a flagrant violation of the principles of the United Nations and all international norms and laws that emphasize the Principle of Non-Interference in the Internal Affairs of States.
and warned that the renunciation for the principle of trust-based cooperation and partnership with its Arab counterparts as well as the exchange of experiences and capabilities, and the continued issuing of such hasty resolutions might impair the Arab-European relations and put it to the test; the matter that imposes to be at the level of responsibility proceeding from the mutual interests and strategic relations between the European Union and the Arab States, rather than involve itself in a biased alignment to organizations that encourage violence and lawlessness under false nomenclature that offend it as a Parliamentary Organization before it offend its relations with the Arab Countries.
