Israeli Energy Minister Yuval Steinitz said the Iranian nuclear file must be resolved and not only frozen, but also completely abolished.

In an interview with the American "Al-Hurra" channel on Wednesday, Steinitz affirmed that his country would not allow Iran to acquire a nuclear weapon. He said, "If it decides to continue the program, Israel will do everything in its power to prevent this."

Steinitz called on the international community to exert great pressure on Iran to force it to dismantle the infrastructure for the nuclear program, and not only limit its capabilities, stressing the need for "not only to freeze or disrupt the Iranian nuclear program, but to cancel it completely."
