His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, met in Riyadh today with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov.

During the meeting, they reviewed the bilateral relations between the two friendly countries, areas of joint cooperation and ways to support and develop it in various fields.

During the meeting, developments in the regional and international situations were discussed and the efforts exerted towards them to enhance security and stability in them, in addition to discussing a number of issues of common concern.

The meeting was attended by Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Energy, Prince Abdullah bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Minister of the National Guard, Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Minister of Defense, Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, Minister of Foreign Affairs, and Minister of State and Member of the Council of Ministers Dr. Musaed bin Muhammad Al-Aiban .

On the Russian side, the Russian President’s envoy to the Middle East and North Africa, Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov, and the Russian ambassador to the Kingdom, Sergei Kozlov, attended the meeting.
