The second round, which was held today, started at (8.00) in the evening and lasted for (45) minutes, amid great competition from the contestants, who numbered (23) drivers, representing 12 international teams, after the withdrawal of the Swiss driver Eduardo Mortara, a team driver. Rocket Venturi Racing, who finished runner-up in the first-round race, had an accident during the afternoon’s qualifying rounds.

The participating drivers talked about their admiration for the professional organization of the races, and the warm reception they found in the Kingdom, and they praised the remarkable development that the Kingdom is witnessing at various levels.

It is noteworthy that today’s competitions had started with the third free trials of the second round at (2.00) in the afternoon, followed by the qualifiers that took place in four groups to determine the starting positions, where the Dutch Robin Friens, driver of Infigen Virgin Racing, succeeded in achieving the fastest time (1:07: 889), an hour while the second place went to Brazilian Sergio Camara from the Dragon Penske Autosport team with a time (1:08: 178), and British Sam Bird from Jaguar Racing came third at a time (1:08:405).
