Friday sermons from the Two Holy Mosques
Mecca
The imam and preacher of the Grand Mosque, Sheikh Dr. Saleh bin Abdullah bin Hamid, advised Muslims to fear, worship and obey God.
And he said in the Friday sermon that he delivered today: “Be with God and do not care. Extend your hands to Him in the darkness of the nights. You will not attain it by your power, from the unjust right of the brothers to mention the worst of what you know and conceal the best of what you know.
He explained that God Almighty would remind his servants of his cosmic revelations and his legal revelations, the Glory of God prolongs the duration of calamity as he wishes of his wisdom, afflicts him by months and years, but he afflicted some of his prophets, and they who are aligned with his creation, he afflicted them for a number of years, until they became proverbs, and it is said: patience Job, and Jacob's patience, may God’s prayers and peace be upon them all, so Jacob has white eyes with sadness, so he is terrible.
He showed that God is powerful and dear, and today people knew creatures weaker than flies, and smaller and despicable, these weak creatures are not robbing man of anything outside of him, but rather they rob him of his strength, ability, health, and wellness, but rather they kill him and destroy him by the power of God and his power, and he cursed them so that they know their weakness Their helplessness, afflicted them so that they might return, and that these calamities and calamities are ritual acts of worship and morals that only appear with the length of the affliction and affliction, the people of faith and righteousness should take care of them and take care of them, including returning to God by showing the types of servitude to Him, glory be to Him, good trust in Him, patience, and supplication, Refraction, submission, certainty, sincerity of repentance, supplication, peace of the chest, observing the kindness of God in His destiny, accompanying the morning and evening remembrances, showing poverty, helplessness, palliation, repudiation of yearliness and strength, trust in God alone, and not attachment to human beings, that many people of negligence He is appalled and impatient for the spread of the epidemic, and is angry and unhappy with the prolonged affliction, and his certainty is shaken to the extent of the hardship.
And that the abundance of good deeds drives them out of calamity, and reveals with them the misfortune of: good worship, alms, ties of kinship, charity to the neighbor, enjoining good, forbidding evil and fulfilling needs, victory for the oppressed, relieving worries, relieving the distressed, and bridging poverty, especially from confining them to the epidemic From work, and no savings for them, they are involved in his saying, glorifying his status, and the introduction of sensory reasons in order to preserve the soul, and protect people from: cleanliness, social distancing, wearing masks, taking vaccinations, and adhering to the instructions issued by the competent authorities, according to the directives of the rulers.
And one of the graces of God upon His servant is that his heart be alive, so he hears the advice of counselors, and takes the guidance of specialists, and that God did not wet His servants except to give them and reward their reward, so they received the destiny of God with praise and contentment, and if the patient believer knew how great the reward would not have hastened relief, and the believer had received something from the affliction. He does not accuse his Lord of his judgment and destiny, but is patient and reckoned, and moves from the situation that God hates to the one that God loves, and knows the knowledge of certainty that what God did not authorize to raise it will not be raised whatever the reasons, and whatever the attempts, explaining that it is the weakness of his patience and certainty, and his calculation is less Misfortunes only increase him suspicion, suspicion, mistrust, and accusation of his master, so he returns with the loss of the two deals, and turns his actions and conditions empty-handed.
He said that it deserves fear and caution with what he sees from the length of the affliction, and the increase in injuries and deaths that the guilty does not repent, does not return to negligence, and the one who eats the truth does not return what he ate, and the cutter of the womb does not reach what he has cut, and he does not reconcile with an opponent, says Al-Nu`man bin Bashir, may God be pleased On his authority: Destruction is all that you do bad things in a time of calamity, and what is frightening is that neglecting the magnitude of the calamity, and the continuation of the situation and the situation, we seek refuge in God from disappointment, and from the situation of the people of error, and if you want to know this and examine it, look at some of the people of negligence, and they rely on statements People during the period of the epidemic, its treatment, and its end, as if there is no place in his heart for God Almighty, and there is no trust in him, nor trust in him, nor delegating matters to him.
He indicated that what he mentioned and is thankful for is that in this pandemic that bedeviled creatures, shook the pillars of states, concerned nations, terrified human beings, and changed ways of life, its approaches and its joys, states, organizations, and bodies have been following paths that are compatible with their conditions, and their capabilities to contain disease, are preparing It protects and treats, and in this context and race, the virtues of this blessed country have been demonstrated by its leaders, governors, and officials, and with its firmness and determination, it takes care of everyone on its land, including citizens, residents and visitors, they are the recruited soldiers in every field, in the borders, in the gaps, and in health, And in the Two Holy Mosques, and in commerce, and in every facility, praise and gratitude be to God, and that these noble deeds are firmness and determination, because it is a great sense of responsibility, because human life is the foreground.
The imam and preacher of the Grand Mosque asserted that the state - may God protect it - is taking all these measures, precautions, and precautions, so why does someone who is careless and open his house lawfully come to gather people on an occasion and inappropriateness, and how can he be lenient with someone who feels the symptoms of disease and then mixes with people without indifference or feeling? The matter is serious and not joking, and we are all responsible, so we must act and deal with awareness and advice, and take it by the hand of the ignorant and the foolish, in cooperation without complacency, and does it make it easy for a person to see the Grand Mosque without two pilgrims, and the Holy Kaaba without two sects, and Al-Safa and Al-Marwah without seeking? And the honorable kindergarten without worshipers, and the noble grave without visitors or Muslims, is it easy for him to suspend the gathering and groups, and close schools and universities, and halls of joy and weddings, and does the honest in his religion and patriotism wish that the interests of people be disrupted, and then the losses in money are heavy.
Medina
The eminent imam and preacher of the Prophet's Mosque, Sheikh Dr. Abdul-Bari bin Awad Al-Thubaiti, warned of the danger of procrastination on the life of a Muslim, calling for hastening to repent from sins and evils, resorting to God by asking for forgiveness and pardon, the necessity of obedience, and bringing someone to benefit from the deeds of his religion and world, and not relying on circumstances Life and its conditions change until the inevitable term expires, then remorse will not help.
Sheikh Dr. Abdul-Bari Al-Thubaiti said that a person often repeats in his life situations, “I will do that tomorrow.” He repeats them in his own plans, aspirations and aspirations, which he aspires to in terms of health, wellness, wealth, money, a spacious home, complex and position, these aspirations and those plans. Islam disciplined it, the Almighty said: “Do not say to anything that I will do that tomorrow unless God wills and remember your Lord when you forget, and say“ I will do that. ”
The imam and preacher of the Prophet’s Mosque explained that one of the etiquette of Islam is to say, “I will do this tomorrow.” Istikharah is upon determination to do something, for Istikharah illuminates the path of the future, enlightens you the points of success, and guides your path. Times, and hastens work before it is too late, does not back down from his determination and does not hesitate to achieve his goal, to record in his life a stream of fruitful deeds and bright pages of achievement. The Almighty said, “So when you are determined, then trust in God.” Indeed, God loves you.
And that whoever has been endowed by God with strength and strength, has given up on work, has surrendered himself to laziness, wasted the hours of his life, and is content to be in the back of the knees and on the margins of life in idleness. Omar bin Al-Khattab says: “Do not sit with one of you from seeking sustenance and say: O God, grant me success. Know that the sky does not rain with gold or silver. And the Almighty said: “So when prayers are made up, then spread out across the earth and seek the grace of God.”
He indicated that the saying “I will do that tomorrow” may turn against those who say it with loss and plague if he is overwhelmed with desires and suspicions, and he makes repentance day after day until death comes to him, then he cries out regret, “Oh, you will return to me, so I will work.”
The imam and preacher of the Prophet’s Mosque concluded the sermon by noting that a Muslim may fail to achieve goals because of forgetfulness, and the remedy for forgetting is the necessity to remember God, the Almighty, the Almighty said: “Remember your Lord if you forget.”
