The Saudi Space Authority signs a memorandum of cooperation with the Saudi Company for Technical Development and Investment

Under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Space Authority, and His Highness Prince Dr. Turki bin Saud, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Company for Technical Development and Investment, the Saudi Space Authority and the Saudi Company for Development and Technical Investment signed a joint memorandum of cooperation to unify efforts In aligning research and development activities to develop the Kingdom's human capabilities.

The memorandum of cooperation was signed by the Saudi Space Authority, CEO, Dr. Abdulaziz bin Muhammad Al Al-Sheikh, and by the Saudi Company for Development and Technical Investment, CEO Abdulrahman bin Zaid Al-Khathlan, on the side.

The MoU aims to enhance joint cooperation between the two parties to achieve integration and unify efforts, in order to cooperate in the transfer of technical and technical knowledge in the space sector and the localization of its industries, and the development of human capital in the fields of space science through the participation of national cadres, infrastructure and knowledge.

This comes within the principle of partnership and cooperation pursued by the authority in its joint relationship with government and private agencies, which includes developing memoranda of cooperation with partners, to enhance bilateral cooperation in order to achieve the desired results in various joint activities and cooperative work to build and strengthen partnerships, which represents one of the goals of the Kingdom's 2030 vision, and in agreement. The goals of the Saudi Space Authority are to benefit from strategic thinking, build partnerships, create new programs, invest in space-centered research, and develop spacecraft technologies and services.
