Beth:The Communication and Financial Knowledge Center “CFKC” is holding a webinar entitled “Investing in Research to Enable the Knowledge Economy” on Tuesday, February 16, 2021, which is part of a series of webinars to enhance financial and economic knowledge. 

The webinar will feature a number of local and international experts specialized in investment in research and the knowledge economy including: Dr. Abdullah Alraddadi, General Director of National Planning at KACST, Dr. Abdulaziz Saqer, Chairman of Gulf Research Center, Dr. Jarmo Kotilaine, Economist and Strategist, and Mr. Mazen Alsudairi, Head of Research at Alrajhi Capital. The discussion will be moderated by Mr. Yahya Alameer, Writer and Media Consultant.

The webinar will discuss several topics highlighting the knowledge economy and its role in achieving sustainable development, the role of the private sector and educational institutions in supporting scientific research, as well as the future of the knowledge economy in Saudi Arabia and the role of think tanks in enhancing knowledge. 

CFKC holds this webinar to demonstrate the importance of knowledge, intellect and brainpower in developing our economy, and to keep pace with the wealth of information, illustrated by the knowledge economy, in light of global economies' shift towards adopting knowledge as an engine to achieve economic development by investing in human capital.
