The Kingdom's representative to the United Nations in Geneva, Ambassador Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Wasil, briefed the international community on the violations of the Iranian Houthi militia.

He warned that the Iranian regime continues to support terrorist militias in the region, calling on the international community to take a serious stand in front of these treacherous terrorist practices.

This came during a meeting held by the permanent representative, Ambassador Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Wasil, and the representative of the Republic of Yemen, Ambassador Ali Majour, at the headquarters of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's mission to the United Nations in Geneva, with ambassadors and representatives of the missions of the United States, Denmark, Australia, Germany, Spain, Norway and Sweden, Switzerland, Japan, Iceland, Italy, the United Kingdom, Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, Ireland, France, Austria, and Canada.

The permanent delegate briefed the representatives of countries on the criminal violations of international humanitarian law committed by the Iranian-backed terrorist Houthi militia, highlighting the series of missile attacks launched by the Houthis using ballistic missiles, drones and other drones, the most recent of which was the one that targeted Abha airport, and the targeting of civilians in The city of Khamis Mushait.

He pointed out that these practices are considered terrorist because they target civilians and civilian facilities in the Kingdom, and the human rights, humanitarian and economic consequences for civilians in those areas.

The permanent representative and delegate of Yemen confirmed that the frequency of attacks increased during the past days, indicating that the Houthi militias do not want a comprehensive political solution that brings together all Yemeni components, while the legitimate government and the Kingdom stressed the importance of reaching a comprehensive political solution according to the three references.

The permanent delegate called on the participating countries to condemn and condemn these attacks, pointing out that the Iranian regime will continue to support terrorist militias in the region unless the international community takes a serious stand before these treacherous terrorist practices.
