SDAIA and Philips sign a memorandum to promote the use of artificial intelligence technologies in the health care system in Saudi Arabia

The Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA) signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Philips Global, with the aim of promoting the use of artificial intelligence technologies in the health care system in the Kingdom in line with the healthcare goals of the Kingdom's Vision 2030.

His Excellency the Minister of Health, Dr. Tawfiq bin Fawzan Al-Rabiah, expressed in a statement on this occasion his happiness with the signing of this agreement, which will expand the provision of artificial intelligence services in the health field in an effort to improve the service of citizens and residents in various medical fields, in a way that - God willing - will directly contribute to achieving Vision 2030 goals, pointing out that the Ministry of Health is working with SADAYA to benefit from artificial intelligence techniques and to supplement joint local and global efforts to form a knowledge system that combines artificial intelligence with health and operational expertise in order to develop integrated solutions that contribute to improving the performance and productivity of health care systems and upgrading the level of national competencies working in This field by adopting artificial intelligence techniques.

For his part, the President of the Saudi Authority for Data and Artificial Intelligence, Dr. Abdullah bin Sharaf Al-Ghamdi, affirmed that the Kingdom is witnessing today, under the umbrella of Saudi Vision 2030, a developmental renaissance in all fields, with the technical fields being the first.
