During the meeting, the Kingdom shared with the member states the Saudi model for strengthening the resilience of cybersecurity during the year of its presidency of the G20, and the hypothetical summit of the G20 leaders, in which the Kingdom, represented by the National Cybersecurity Authority, was keen to develop the model as a comprehensive reference for the countries that will chair the G20 in the future And all major conference organizers alike.

The Deputy Governor of the Authority for the Policies and Regulations Sector at the National Authority for Cyber ​​Security, Bin Fahd Al-Rabdi, explained that the model is based on two levels; First, it aims to strengthen the resilience of cybersecurity during the year of the presidency of the Group of Twenty, and the second is to strengthen the resilience of cybersecurity for the virtual summit of leaders, and each level is based on four axes; Program governance pillar, cybersecurity assessments, cyber operations, cyber awareness and exercises.

He indicated that the model contributed to holding the G20 summit in a safe and reliable position; Which was very important; To ensure the success of the presidential year, taking into account the magnitude of the event, and that most of its meetings are held virtually during the presidential year, due to the repercussions of the Coronavirus pandemic.

Participants in the meeting praised the Saudi model for strengthening the resilience of cybersecurity, and its contribution to holding this important event safely and reliably.
