Beth: The President of the Arab Parliament, Adel bin Abdul Rahman Al-Asoumi, visits Geneva.

During this visit, the President of the Arab Parliament will meet with the senior leaders of the Inter-Parliamentary Union to discuss ways to coordinate cooperation between the Union and the Arab Parliament.

Al-Osoumi stressed that this cooperation will represent an important opportunity to benefit from the many experiences accumulated by the Inter-Parliamentary Union in many issues of concern to the Arab countries, as well as to benefit from the multiple international partnerships of the Inter-Parliamentary Union with the organizations and specialized agencies of the United Nations.
