The Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Bandar Al-Khorayef, stressed during his visit to the Enterprise Support Center in Madinah yesterday, the importance of the center in empowering small and medium enterprises in the region and improving their performance, including those working in the industrial sector, pointing out that the ministry is working to provide pathways for entrepreneurs and small and medium enterprises in Industrial sector.
The Governor of the General Authority for Small and Medium Enterprises "Monshaat", Eng. Saleh bin Ibrahim Al-Rasheed, gave a detailed explanation of the center's tasks and objectives, which focus on supporting and empowering the small and medium-sized enterprises sector in the region, and ensuring their continuity by providing all the services of "monshaat".
After that, Mr. Al-Khorayef participated in the responsible council meeting to discuss industrial investment opportunities in the Madinah region, the ministry's role in developing the industrial investment environment in the Madinah region, and its role in motivating young people to create an environment for entrepreneurship in addition to promising opportunities in the industrial sectors.
He said during the meeting: "Our goals for the year 2030 are based on 3 pillars, which are the volume of investments, exports, and job opportunities, as the industrial strategy is based on three axes, which are Emiratisation, natural resources, and the creative future," stressing the ministry's keenness to make the industry and wealth sector Al-Maadeniya attracts investments and entrepreneurs, and is not a monopoly over large capitals, especially as the industrial sector is more able to adopt new technologies that help provide opportunities in the industrial sector and open a field for entry of new investors.
It is noteworthy that “Monsha’at” is planning for the future expansion of the establishments support centers in the various regions of the Kingdom to provide an environment that provides opportunities for prosperity for all micro, small and medium enterprises, by providing support services and programs that are compatible with the size of each facility to enhance its growth and competitiveness, in faith in the importance of the small enterprises sector And medium in supporting the national economy, advancing development and expanding the productive base.
