Workers and toilers protests in Iranian cities
Workers, farmers and toiling segments in Iran continue their protest rallies despite the repression imposed by the mullahs' regime, demanding to pay their minimum wages.
The lack of the minimum necessary for survival and the exorbitant costs of goods and foodstuffs forced different segments of the Iranian people to leave quarantine and claim their rights.
According to reports from inside Iran, Iranian workers and toilers organized protest rallies, in different cities.
The workers of Haft Teba Sugar Cane Company organized a protest rally, chanting the opposite slogan: “Death to the workers and salute to the oppressor.”
On Saturday, January 16, farmers in eastern Isfahan organized a protest rally in the Khoraskan roundabout to demand their water share.
A group of unemployed youths gathered in Shahruyi village in the city of Behbahan again in front of the main Baid Blend 2 refinery, on Saturday, January 16th, in protest against unemployment and the lack of jobs.
And the continuing protest of illegal workers in the Aslawiyyah Reform Department against the empty promises made by the directors of the Pars Special Economic Energy Zone, the Minister of Oil, and the contractors to implement the workers' job classification plan.
Young people in the village of Abu Sakheer, near Ahvaz, organized a protest rally in front of the Salman Farsi Sugar Cane Company, 40 kilometers from Ahvaz, and confronted the repressive police and security guards who tried to disperse them. These confrontations resulted in the injury and arrest of a number of young demonstrators by the repressive forces.
