US House Speaker Nancy Pelosi affirmed her insistence on being hostile to President Trump, and occupies her time waiting for him, not against the enemies of the United States.

She said in her last conversation - so far - that the House will vote early this week on a draft resolution urging Vice President Mike Pence to take over the reins of power from President Donald Trump. By that, it means keeping President Trump out of any attempt to implement an order that might upset the electoral balance.

Observers described it as revealing the policies of America when Pelosi is in control of matters, and she can intervene and impose her opinion on the president who planned and her aides to place him at the head of an authority that has no power, namely, John Baiden.

Pelosi said in a letter to Democratic lawmakers, that the leader of the Democratic majority in the House of Representatives, Steny Hoyer, will ask for unanimous approval on Monday to put forward the draft resolution prepared by Representative Jamie Raskin.

She explained that this legislation urges Pence to hold a cabinet meeting and to proceed with the implementation of the 25th amendment, which provides for the reins of government to be handed over to the vice president in circumstances including the death of the head of state or the loss of the ability to perform the duties of the presidency.

Pelosi said that if it is not approved unanimously, the legislation will be put to the vote the next day (Tuesday), adding that he will ask Pence to respond to this call within 24 hours, and after this period expires, impeachment procedures will be launched against Trump within the House of Representatives.

“We have to act urgently, because this president is an imminent danger,” she said.
