Saudi driver Saleh Al-Saif led the second stage of the Saudi Dakar Rally 2021, after he finished first in the light desert vehicles category, in the stage that started on Monday, January 4, 2021 AD, from Bisha towards Wadi Al-Dawasir, and extended for a distance of 685 km.

Al-Saif came first with a time of 05:05:07 ahead of Spaniard Gerrard Fares, who came in second place by 01: 40 +, while Chilean Francisco Lopez came in third place, with a difference of 02: 43 +, who maintained the top of the category with this result .

With this result, Al-Saif climbed to ninth place in the overall standings in the light desert vehicles category, in the second day of the race that had started yesterday from Jeddah towards Bisha.

In the cars category, Qatari driver Nasser Al-Attiyah achieved first place, with a time of 04:03:14, ahead of French driver Stephane Peterhansel, who came in second place by + 02: 35, while the first-stage leader, Spanish driver Carlos Sainz, came in Third, with a difference of 09: 17+, while Saudi driver Yazid Al-Rajhi rose to fourth place in the overall standings, after scoring a distinguished result in today's stage, with a time of 04:13:38.

In the motorcycle category, Spanish cyclist Juan Barreda achieved first place, with a time of 04:17:56, ahead of American cyclist Ricky Brabec by 03: 55 and Chilean cyclist Pablo Quintania, who finished third with a difference of 06: 02.

Russian driver Dmitry Sotnikov continued to deliver strong results by leading for the second day in a row in the truck category, achieving a time of 04:37:44 that gave him the lead in Wadi Al-Dawasir, ahead of his compatriot Irat Mardev who finished second with a difference of 03: 17+ and the Belarusian Syari Vyazovich who came In third place with a difference of 06: 30+.
