The contestants cross 10 Saudi cities during 12 different stages, in the governorates, cities and regions of the Kingdom, interspersed with a day of rest in the city of Hail, with a distance of 7,600 km.

Preliminary stage: Jeddah - 11 kilometers

The organizing committee of the Saudi Dakar Rally 2021 granted all contestants an area for the short competition today, Saturday, through the preliminary stage, in preparation for entering the actual competition atmosphere on Sunday, as the participants covered a distance of 129 km in total, and 11 km in the special track.

The "first" stage (Jeddah - Bisha):

The rally competitions start from the Jeddah governorate towards Bisha, on challenging paths, through many valleys and picturesque rocky areas, with a distance of 622 km, interspersed with a special stage estimated at 277 km.

The second stage (Bisha - Wadi Dawsar):

Through an area full of sand dunes, with a total distance of 685 km, interspersed with a special stage of 457 km, the competitors in the International Grand Rally set out from Bisha to Wadi Al-Dawasir, trying to overcome the difficulties of this stage, which includes a lot of off-road, before reaching again on sandy paths.

The third stage (Wadi Al-Dawasir):

The distance of this stage is 630 km, with a special stage covered by the participants, which is 403 km.

Fourth stage (Wadi Al-Dawasir - Riyadh):

This stage is considered the "longest" in the race in general, if the tie segment is calculated, and the stage is 813 km, of which a special stage is 337 km. Fifth stage (Riyadh - Qaisumah):

Sixth stage (Hail):

With a distance of 618 km and a special stage of 448 km, the participants cross an entire sandy path in Hail, in which the competitors' abilities and their driving skills are tested, in the various categories in the race, before they enjoy one day of rest in the city itself “Hail”, in which they can check their vehicles and complete work Maintenance, before returning to the Grand Rally competitions.

The seventh stage (Hail - Sakaka):

The "marathon" stage, which starts from Hail towards Sakaka, and has a distance of 737 km, with a special stage estimated at 471 km, in which the participants face a series of sandy mountains and 100 km of competition in the race up and down the mountains, and the contestants will be forced to deal with their vehicles themselves, if there is any Malfunctions or otherwise.

The eighth stage (Skaka - Neom):

The second part of the marathon stage, the distance is 709 km, and a special stage of 375 km. Participants in the rally will experience a wonderful stage in which they enjoy watching the scenery and the picturesque nature in this part of the Kingdom’s regions, which extends from Sakaka to the future city of "Neom".

Ninth stage (NEOM):

On the banks of the Red Sea, and on a tour along the coast, competitors in the rally in Neom are running a distance of 579 km, and a special stage of 456 km, interspersed with parts that need speed and sand, and the participants in it must be careful, which makes it one of the most difficult stages.

The tenth stage (Neom - Al-Ula):

A mixture of landscapes and steep areas, experienced by the race participants during this extended stage from Neom to Al-Ula, which has a distance of 583 km, and with a special stage estimated at 342 km, and seasoned navigators may benefit from this tour as they make their way through the valleys.

Stage 11 (Al-Ula - Yanbu):

This tour includes the longest special stage in the rally (511 km), and a total distance of 557 km from Al-Ula to Yanbu, which will largely determine the shape of the competition between the remaining runners,

The 12th and final stage (Yanbu - Jeddah):
