PMI: The Red Sea Project is one of the 10 most influential projects in the Middle East
The Project Management Institute (PMI) ranks the Red Sea Net project as the top 10 influential projects in the Middle East for 2020.
Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Crown Prince and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Public Investment Fund, launched a global tourism project in the Kingdom under the name of the "Red Sea" project, on July 31, 2017, which is being held on one of the most beautiful and diverse natural sites in the world, in cooperation with the most important and largest international companies In the hospitality and hotel sector, to develop exceptional tourist resorts on more than 50 natural islands between the cities of Umluj and Al-Wajh, a few distances from one of the natural reserves in the Kingdom and the idle volcanoes in the Al-Raha Free Zone.
It is expected that these enchanting islands will become something else within 5 years. The ambitious project launched by Prince Mohammed bin Salman will transform these pristine sites into a global tourist destination.
The "Red Sea" project is a practical embodiment of one of the axes of Vision 2030, which will be built on a number of islands, mountain sites and beaches, to become a leading destination for recreational tourism, activities and adventures.
This project will allow exploring the Kingdom's nature of islands, coasts, idle volcanoes, and ancient monuments, making it the gateway to the Red Sea to the world, and it will be developed according to the highest international standards.
