Saudi Arabia hands over the file for hosting the 2027 AFC Asian Cup

Today, Sunday, December 13, 2020, the Saudi delegation formally handed over the file of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to host the 2027 AFC Asian Cup finals to Sheikh Salman bin Ibrahim Al Khalifa, President of the Asian Football Confederation, and Secretary General of the Federation, Dato 'Windsor John, in the Bahraini capital, Manama, instead of The AFC headquarters are in Kuala Lumpur, due to restrictions imposed by the "new Corona" virus.

The Saudi delegation was represented in handing over the file for the Kingdom's bid to host the 2027 AFC Asian Cup finals by the President of the Saudi Football Association Yasser bin Hassan Al-Meshal, his deputy member of the Executive Office of the Asian Football Confederation Khaled Al-Thubaiti, the former president of the Saudi Federation Ahmed bin Eid Al-Harbi, and the Secretary-General Ibrahim Al-Qasim. And a number of the national team stars who contributed to the 1984 and 1988 Asian Cups, namely Majed Abdullah, Saleh Al-Naima, Saleh Khalifa, Shaya Al-Nafisa, Ahmed Jamil, and Muhammad Abdul-Jawad.
