The volunteer medical team of the King Salman Relief Center provides treatment within two months to 32,766 patients to combat blindness in several countries

  

The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center volunteer medical team conducted 4,595 separate surgeries in the months of October and November 2020 in the field of combating blindness and the diseases that cause it, in addition to distributing 6,882 eyeglasses and providing various prescriptions and treatments, of which 32,766 individuals benefited in Yemen, Sudan, and Bangladesh. And Nigeria, in cooperation with the Global Sight Foundation.

In Yemen, the center's team performed 1,750 surgeries in the governorates of Al-Mukalla and Aden, as well as examining 6,047 patients, with the distribution of more than 1,731 eyeglasses for non-surgical cases.

In Sudan, the center's doctors performed 800 surgeries, examined 5,000 cases, in addition to distributing 800 eyeglasses and special eye drops, in the states of Khartoum, Omdurman, Kalakla and Medani.

The volunteer medical team in the cities of Rangpur and Rajshahi, in the Republic of Bangladesh, conducted 809 surgeries, examined 5,979 individuals, and distributed approximately 1,688 eyeglasses for patients with impaired vision.

The volunteer team in Nigeria also carried out 1,600 surgeries to remove cataracts, glaucoma and pterygium, treat occluded tear ducts, and others, inspected 15,740 cases, dispensed 2,663 eyeglasses and provided appropriate treatments to the needy in Kano and Buche

 

King Salman Relief Center launches a project to distribute 22,550 winter clothing to the needy in Pakistan

 

The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center yesterday launched a project to distribute 22,550 winter clothes and 45,100 quilts to support the needy in various parts of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.

The project aims to provide support to 135,000 people in separate regions and regions of Pakistan, as one bag includes a number of clothes, blankets and the most used winter supplies.
