Saudi Arabia is the first Arab in artificial intelligence
The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia ranked first in the Arab world, and the 22nd globally in the global index of artificial intelligence, compared to the 29th in the world last year. The Kingdom also ranked second in the world in the governmental strategy criterion, and the ninth place globally in the operational environment standard. This came in a report by the Tortoise Intelligence Index. The index measures more than 143 measures of the level of investment, innovation and implementation of artificial intelligence technologies through several criteria, such as infrastructure strength, operational environment, research and development, and others.
The head of the Saudi Authority for Data and Artificial Intelligence "SADAYA", Dr. Abdullah bin Sharaf Al-Ghamdi, said: “The Kingdom’s progress to seven positions in the global index of artificial intelligence in one year is a matter of pride and indicates the wise leadership’s keenness and constant support for this pivotal sector at the national level. "SADAYA", the government agency specialized in data and artificial intelligence affairs, is one of the matters that contributed to the Kingdom's progress in the global index, in addition to the launch of the National Data and Artificial Intelligence Strategy "Nusadi", in addition to the overall rapid and effective gains made by the Kingdom in relation to the initiatives, events and programs that Designed and applied.
