King Abdullah Financial Center" KAFD "launches a Smart Cities project in cooperation with the Saudi company for artificial intelligence"Sky"
King Abdullah Financial Center management and development company kavd and Saudi artificial intelligence company Sky have announced their partnership to implement a new project to serve as a model for other smart city projects throughout the kingdom.
The project is qualitative in the field of smart cities and aims to enhance the experience of urban life in "KAFD " by taking advantage of smart traffic and transport solutions.
The agreement was signed by Gautam sachital, CEO of King Abdullah Financial Center management and development company "kavd“, and Abdulaziz al-Muammar, CEO-designate of the Saudi artificial intelligence company”Sky".
The two companies, which are fully owned by the public investment fund (PIF), are set to collaborate to launch smart solutions that contribute to traffic facilitation and the development of mobility operations, with the aim of turning kavd into a role model for other smart city projects in the kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
These solutions include the implementation of an intelligent traffic management platform (STM) to facilitate traffic flow monitoring using a data-driven approach, as this platform provides easy access to real-time and predictive data about traffic, as well as it will serve as the basis for an intelligent data analysis system.
