Saudi Arabia.. Launch of the "filmmakers"program

The Saudi Film Authority is preparing to launch the fourth edition of the filmmakers " programs this month / January.
The authority aims to train 4,000 people interested in the film industry, both beginners and professionals, and implement 150 training workshops in 13 regions of the kingdom.
The authority intends to launch the first edition of the" cadre program", which is concerned with providing professional training opportunities in the field for up to 50 professional filmmakers and practitioners in the cinema, aiming to empower trainees with cinema tools and develop them in multiple disciplines within the film industry over a period of 21 days, in cooperation with international production houses and by including them in existing film projects.
This contributes to the presentation of local cinema with international standards, increasing its presence at various film forums worldwide. Through its programs and initiatives, the film Authority seeks to provide possible professional training opportunities, and contribute to opening new horizons by promoting effective communication between filmmakers and industry experts; to highlight the knowledge and intellectual diversity and benefit from the summary of accumulated experiences and expertise to improve the Saudi film industry.
