The royal commission for Alula governorate announced the list of speakers and participants, from the Kingdom and around the world, participating in the first session of the "Alula world Antiquities summit", which will be held from September 13 to 15 at Maraya Hall.

More than 300 experts and interested in the field of antiquities and cultural heritage, in addition to 80 speakers, will participate in the sessions and dialogues of the summit, as well as dozens of stakeholders in the sector from governmental and non-governmental institutions, international organizations and the media.during its meetings and dialogue sessions, the summit focuses on the development of Archaeology, which contributes to increasing archaeological discoveries and activating them around the world.

The summit is one of the initiatives of the royal commission for Alula governorate, which is leading the process of comprehensive development of Alula as a leading global destination for cultural and natural heritage.the summit works to use the insights gained from cultural heritage and scientific progress to benefit humanity, contributing to achieving the goals of the kingdom's Vision 2030.

Speakers and participants will take part in excursions to the main heritage sites in Alula, which will provide a truly global platform for scientific discussion, cooperation and innovation between archeology and contemporary global issues in the sector; to reach common visions and solutions derived from cultural heritage.

The royal commission for Alula governorate aims, through the Alula world Antiquities summit, to promote various historical, geographical and heritage attractions, organize relevant conferences that confirm the presence of Alula within the map of the most important historical sites in the world, as well as activate partnerships with international organizations, as it is one of the most important archaeological places in the world whose landmarks tell the history of human civilizations.
