The Saudi Exports Development Authority organized the Saudi trade mission to Japan, which was held on Friday in Tokyo, with the participation of more than 22 Saudi companies and more than 73 Japanese companies from the services sector and the food sector, with the aim of developing economic and trade relations between the two countries, and looking for new cooperation prospects that support the arrival of national products and services to the promising Japanese market, as the mission included a number of bilateral meetings, Business Matching Meetings and agreements and memorandums of understanding between the Saudi and Japanese sides.
It is noteworthy that Saudi Arabia's non-oil exports to Japan have been recorded during the past five years (2018-2022) worth 16.42 billion riyals, while last year 2022 recorded a value of 3.72 billion riyals, exported by the chemicals and polymers sector worth 1.72 billion riyals, followed by the building materials sector worth 1 billion Saudi riyals.
