Al-Jubeir told CNN: Saudi Arabia deals with presidents as soon as they reach the position not before

Saudi Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Adel Al-Jubeir expressed his country's aspiration to cooperate with the new US administration.

Al-Jubeir explained in an interview with the American CNN, that Saudi Arabia deals with all American administrations, regardless of whether they are Republicans or Democrats.

Al-Jubeir added that US President-elect Joe Biden has great political experience, as he was in the Senate for 35 years and then vice president.

Al-Jubeir expected that there would be no major change in US foreign policy.

The Saudi Minister of State emphasized that what the candidates say during their election campaigns is not reflected in what they do when they are in office.

He pointed out that Saudi Arabia deals with presidents once they reach the position, not before.

Al-Jubeir added that between Saudi Arabia and the United States there are huge interests in many files in the region and the world, especially with regard to the global economy, oil market stability, energy security, and the fight against extremism and terrorism.

He added that Saudi Arabia is the key to the Islamic world.
