SADAIA Saudi Arabia begins training 25,000 women around the world in data and artificial intelligence

The Saudi Authority for Data and Artificial Intelligence #SADAIA announced the launch of the “Elevate Program” today, in cooperation with Google Cloud, in its first phase, as the program is the first of its kind in the world, with training of 1,000 women representing 28 countries, and it will continue until August 30, 2023 AD, within the program training 25,000 women over 5 years; in the fields of data and artificial intelligence.
The program was announced during the second edition of the World Summit on Artificial Intelligence.
Sadaia explained that the program, in its first phase, is offered under the supervision of 16 male and female trainers from the authority through two tracks for technical specialists and non-specialists wishing to develop their skills in these areas, as the program offers free training sessions designed to provide participants with the skills and experience necessary for roles such as: cloud engineer, data engineer, and engineer. machine learning or cloud business.

The Elevate Program seeks to close the gender gap in STEM fields, particularly in emerging markets.
The launch of the program comes within the framework of "SADAYA" work to lead the Kingdom's march towards global leadership in the field of artificial intelligence, by raising awareness and qualifying cadres in data and artificial intelligence, by providing them with the necessary knowledge and skills; Through specialized programs in accordance with the latest international practices offered by Sedaya Academy; In order to achieve the objectives of the Kingdom's Vision 2030.
