The UAE grants "golden residency" to these groups
The UAE Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, announced today, Sunday, that his country's government has approved granting "golden residency" for a period of 10 years to residents of some professions.
The ruler of Dubai stated on his "Twitter account" that the "golden residency" will be granted to all holders of doctorate degrees, all doctors and engineers in the fields of computer engineering, electronics, programming, electricity and biotechnology, and those who exceed accredited universities in the country at a rate of 3.8 and more.
"Golden residency" will also be granted to holders of specialized degrees in artificial intelligence, big data, or epidemiology and viruses, in addition to high school diplomas in the country with their families.
Sheikh Mohammed wrote: "This is a first batch, which will be followed by batches ... and the minds and talents we want to remain and continue with us in the march of development and achievements."
