The opposition parties, which refused to assume their parliamentary duties, demanded several demands, the most important of which were the holding of frequent, free and fair elections, the dismissal of the head of the Central Elections Committee, Tamar Jvania, and the guarantee of a fair composition of the electoral committees, as well as the release of all political detainees.
