Historic level of Saudi natural gas production in one day

 Saudi Aramco said, it succeeded on August 6 in achieving a historic level of gas production in one day at 10.7 billion standard cubic feet from conventional and unconventional fields.

The company said that it showed reliable performance in the exploration and production sector, with a total production of hydrocarbons amounting to 12.4 million barrels of oil  equivalent for the first nine months of this year, including about 9.2 million barrels per day of crude oil.

Aramco President Amin Al-Nasser said, "We have started to see initial signs of a recovery in energy demand during the third quarter, regarding the improvement of economic activities, despite the challenges facing global energy markets."

 The company had announced a historic production of oil on April 2, at 12.1 million barrels of oil per day. This was after talks to cut production failed with the start of the Coronavirus outbreak.

Saudi Aramco announced a net profit of 44.2 billion riyals during the third quarter of 2020, a decrease of 44.6 percent from the same quarter of 2019, while profits rose compared to the previous quarter (second quarter 2020) by 79.6 percent.
