Saudi Arabia.. Offers 13 sites to invest in limestone

The Saudi Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources announced the launch of 13 investment sites in the limestone complex in Hafeerat Nasah in the Muzahmiyah Governorate in the Riyadh region, through a competition. The competition targets investors interested in the manufacture of ornamental stones and rocks.
According to a statement by the ministry; The aim of this proposal is to organize the procedures for competition operations to obtain a building materials quarry license, to exploit limestone blocks in the Hafeerah Nasah complex, and to provide a fair environment for competitors, to enhance investment in the mining sector, in addition to encouraging national industries, in line with the objectives of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.
The ministry stated that the announcement of the competition and clarification of the conditions, requirements and results of qualification and the names of the winners will be via a "mining platform", where the ministry will work to qualify the results of the competitors based on the requirements and conditions of the announced competition.
Fulfilling the qualification requirements begins on the 13th of this April, then announcing the qualification of the competitors, and finally launching the bidding process on the designated sites.
It is noteworthy that the Ministry worked to monitor and organize the site of the complex and to ensure that the executed works do not have a harmful effect on security, safety and health, and do not cause damage to the surrounding environment or property, by enacting controls and imposing penalties on violators, and those wishing to compete can apply through (the site ).
