Pakistan.. Parliament no confidence in Imran Khan
Pakistan's parliament has voted to impeach Prime Minister Imran Khan, 13 hours after the ruling party attempted to delay the poll.
Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan has blamed outside powers for the current political crisis in his country.
Khan, according to Pakistan's Geo News channel, called on young people in his country to demonstrate "for a peaceful and prosperous Pakistan", stressing that there was evidence of a "shameless plot" against his government.
This comes at a time when Khan's government lost the majority in the "National Assembly" (Parliament), as a result of the defection of a number of parties from the ruling coalition.
The prime minister accused their opponents of "selling out their conscience," adding that he "wanted history to remember those traitors who conspire with outside powers."
Tens of thousands of supporters of ousted Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan took to the streets waving his party flags and pledging their support, while the crowds were dominated by young people who form the backbone of his approach.
After Pakistan's parliament withdrew confidence from Imran Khan, the Pakistan Muslim League, Nawaz Sharif's wing, said its opposition political leader Shahbaz Sharif had submitted his nomination papers for the post of Pakistani Prime Minister to Parliament on Sunday.
