Construction of an Armani Hotel in Diriyah
Beth: The Diriyah Gate Development Authority and Armani Hotels & Resorts announced the establishment of an Armani Hotel in Diriyah.
Emaar Properties Group will manage and operate the new hotel, in line with the way it manages its hotels.
The hotel includes seventy luxurious suites overlooking the main street of Diriyah, in addition to two restaurants, a spa with private suites for massage services, a "spa" and a swimming pool, offering a variety of experiences of comfort, relaxation and hospitality.
The hotel is connected to 18 exclusive self-contained residences - also designed by Armani - with spacious interiors and outdoor terraces as well as recreational decks available to visitors.
The CEO of the Diriyah Gate Development Authority, Jerry Inzerillo, expressed his happiness at the announcement of the plans to build the "Armani Diriyah" hotel, adding that this announcement falls within the authority's strategy to enhance the hospitality sector within the Diriyah Development Project.
Designer Giorgio Armani said: “The idea of the pioneering project for the Diriyah development is inspired by the revival of the roots, so the harmonious landscape forms a wonderful dialogue between the past and the present, where Armani Hotel Diriyah allows me to interpret my idea of lifestyle and hospitality, and I am happy to be part of Diriyah its wide geographical and cultural scope.
Armani Hotel Diriyah fits with the landmarks of Diriyah’s rich cultural heritage, whose project has been designed to be the first global cultural and tourist destination, and upon completion it will be the largest cultural and heritage site in the world. The facilities within the project are convenient for walking with easy access to the sights and attractions within the area.
