The coalition begins striking the sources of threat in Sanaa and Hodeidah
The coalition forces to support legitimacy in Yemen announced the start of an operation in response to neutralizing targeting oil facilities or affecting energy security, and that they exercised the highest standards of restraint for Houthi attacks on oil facilities, and the coalition reported that its forces are carrying out air strikes on sources of threat in Sanaa and Hodeidah, and that the military operation will continue until achieve its goals.
The coalition added that its goal is to protect global energy sources from hostile attacks and ensure supply chains, and that the Houthis must bear the consequences of hostile behavior and the military operation in its early stages.
The Coalition to Support Legitimacy in Yemen also announced, on Friday night to Saturday, the interception and destruction of two drones in Yemeni airspace, which were launched towards Saudi Arabia.
The coalition called on civilians not to be present or approach any oil site or facility in Hodeidah, stressing that it will deal directly with the sources of threat, noting that it will spare civilian objects and oil installations collateral damage.
The coalition later confirmed that "the hostile attacks today were launched from Sana'a International Airport and Hodeidah Governorate."
"We are monitoring suspicious activities to launch a wave of hostile attacks towards Saudi Arabia," he added. "We are assessing threats, repercussions, and measures that take into account regional and collective security," he added.
