In this context, the Minister of Environment, Water and Agriculture and Chairman of the Board of Directors of ENOWA, Engineer Abdul Rahman Al-Fadhli, said: "NEOM is committed to achieving sustainability and supporting the principles of the circular economy, and this is what ENOWA aspires to achieve and support through its work. With regard to water production and wastewater treatment solutions, Engineer Nazmi Al-Nasr indicated that ENOWA is designed to be fully sustainable, which will allow the provision of low-cost potable water to residents and businesses alike, and desalination plants that rely on energy will operate 100% renewable, through an innovative production system that ensures that no harmful waste is discharged into sea water and the provision of mineral water suitable for drinking, and a large part of the purification process aims to produce valuable elements from seawater, and in this context, brine is one of the waste that is usually They are not used, but ENOWA will work to achieve the optimum use of this element, by producing large quantities of valuable industrial materials such as industrial salt, magnesium and potassium, which can be sold commercially effectively.

It is reported that work has already begun on developing vital facilities for ENOWA, which will cover the basic infrastructure needs of the three main NEOM projects: The Line, which is a revolution in urban life, and Oxagon, the cognitive industrial city that redefines industrial communities that have already begun to attract investors.
