The leader of the “Lebanese Forces” party, Samir Geagea, said, commenting on the words of the leader of the “Hezbollah” militia, Hassan Nasrallah, that he was “full of fallacies and lies”? The head of the “Lebanese Forces” party, Samir Geagea, said in an interview with “Sky News”: “Nasrallah’s speech was full of inaccuracies as well as lies and forgery.

He stressed that “Nasrallah’s accusations against Saudi Arabia and his talk about Wahhabism are counterproductive,” stressing that “who created ISIS is the extremist axis.”

He said: The Syrian revolution, which we remember how it started and how the Gulf countries supported it, asked: “Who created ISIS on the Syrian arena?”

He pointed out that the leaders of al-Qaeda and ISIS are present in Iran.

He added, “From Nasrallah’s point of view, Saudi Arabia wants to eliminate him because he prevented the establishment of a Saudi sheikhdom and emirate in Lebanon, and I say that this is a flaw and a falsification of facts, and Saudi Arabia has always helped make Lebanon a jewel in the East.”

Geagea stressed that “Saudi Arabia is a very balanced political weight in the region, and it is still interested in Lebanon and considers that there are still some from whom it is hoped for good.”

Regarding the presidential elections, he said: “I am not a candidate in the classic sense, but in the natural sense, yes, I am a candidate, as the head of the “forces” is the head of the largest Christian party in Lebanon at the present time, but the most important issue today and before reaching the presidency is to find an actual republic.”
